Cameron and I had an interesting chat this afternoon in my office.
We started with some very innocent technical details of an input device for video gaming, but the conversation soon turned to touch something very interesting, or the very frontline of those giants in the IT industries, companies like Intel, Microsoft, and Apple: the interface.
Or dematerialized interface, or mediated interface.
I wish to share with you all here some video clips on youtube. Note that they are very different things, UMPC, or Ultra Mobile PC by Intel, and a Surface PC by Microsoft, but both are what their inventor's "the Next Thing", and they do have one thing in common, or strikingly similar: a finger gesticulation input interface.
